Helping Others: Our Visit to SOUL Hub
This week, our preschoolers took a very special trip to SOUL Hub to deliver donations of long life milk and support a local charity that helps people in need. It was a meaningful experience that helped our children begin to understand the importance of kindness, generosity, and community support.
At preschool, we often talk about caring for others, and this visit gave the children a real-life opportunity to put those values into action. We discussed how not everyone has the same things we do — like food, a warm home, or even milk in the fridge — and how we can help by sharing and supporting those in need.
Carrying the milk in and seeing where it would go made a big impression on the children. It opened up gentle but important conversations about gratitude and giving, and helped them see that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
We’re proud of our preschoolers for their compassion and thoughtfulness. These early lessons in empathy help build the foundation for a caring, connected community — both inside and outside our Preschool.
