New Leafy Stick Insects at Preschool!

We’re very excited to welcome some fascinating new friends to our preschool — leafy stick insects! These amazing little creatures are already sparking lots of curiosity and wonder among our preschoolers.

With their clever camouflage and gentle nature, the leafy stick insects are giving our children a unique opportunity to observe living things up close. The children are learning how to care for these delicate pets by helping to gently mist their enclosure, provide fresh leaves, and make sure they’re happy and healthy.

Looking after the stick insects is teaching our preschoolers about responsibility, empathy, and the importance of caring for the natural world. It’s a wonderful way to connect with nature right here in our learning environment.
